The Airmar® CAST™ system offers seamless connectivity to Bluetooth®-enabled multisensors and SmartBoat® modules such as the DST810, DX900+, and WX300. Through its user-friendly app interface, the CAST facilitates straightforward sensor configuration and calibration, allowing users to access real-time data effortlessly. Detailed gauges and digital screens present this data clearly, enabling users to conduct speed, temperature, and attitude calibrations without the requirement for external converters or cables.

A significant advantage of the CAST system is the ability to configure multisensors directly, independent of other onboard displays and gauges. All adjustments and calibrations are stored within the multisensor itself and transmitted via the NMEA2000® network, ensuring efficient data management.

When paired with the DST810 sensor, CAST allows for the calibration of both basic and heel-compensated speed through water by utilizing onboard GPS speed as a reference point. The intuitive guided wizards assist users in executing multiple runs to adjust for environmental conditions effectively. For those seeking a more detailed calibration process, CAST provides options for advanced speed calibration involving up to five heel angles and ten reference speeds—a capability previously accessible only through costly PC-based solutions.

Furthermore, when integrating with Airmar’s SmartBoat® modules, the CAST app simplifies the connection to SmartView software for streamlined system configuration, ensuring that users can optimize their marine instrumentation with ease and efficiency.
